Respect the Oasis
Last week, I underscored how essential unconditional love is during this difficult time.
This week, I want to discuss how vital it is to respect the oasis.
What does this mean?
Your home is like my tree house—it is your oasis from the storms of life that we are all experiencing right now.
We have tons of stress and negative news bombarding us all throughout the day. It’s important to curtail your exposure to media as much as possible so you can help respect the oasis. Click To Tweet
I have read that our Native American predecessors used to have a basket out in front of their house or their lodge. Before you could come inside, you would ceremoniously put your worries and troubles in that basket so you did not bring them inside. We need to do something similarly metaphorically as well.
Don’t bring the problems of the day inside the house. Respect the oasis.
