It’s a Perfect Time to Create These
Last week, I discussed why it’s vital to respect the oasis (not bringing the problems of the day inside your house/oasis).
This week, I’m going to highlight the importance of creating rituals during these difficult times.
Rituals are incredibly important. If you don’t have rituals already, this is indeed a perfect time to create some. For example:
– Have pancakes every Sunday morning
– Eat spaghetti every Wednesday night
– Read a new book every Thursday afternoon
– Establish a certain day of the week for board games
In particular, in our house, we play a certain song during dinners, parties, or celebrations. My kids sometimes roll their eyes when they hear this song. However, more importantly, they’ll never forget our ritual of playing that particular song during those special times at our house.
