A Simple Reminder for These Times
Last week, I shared the importance of doing your part as you spend more time at home than ever before.
This week, I want to remind you of the importance of unconditional love.
Indeed, you are likely at home with other people. And no matter how big your house is, sometimes, it can feel pretty small. In particular, think about your pets. There is no greater example of unconditional love than that which your pet expresses towards you. They are playful, affectionate, and they always bring a smile to your face.
Furthermore, you need to work really hard to maintain unconditional love for the other people in your home as you’re spending more and more time together. You achieve that by eating together at the same time. Preferably, around a table. It’s incredibly tempting to run off into our own corners with a bowl of cereal or fresh toasted bread. Thus, make it an important point to eat together around the table. Have no technological distractions—television, laptop, cellphones—present.
