Are You Still Not Setting Goals?
After taking a break last week from our weekly lessons to celebrate Thanksgiving, we continue our series on Deadly Business Planning Sins. I hope you enjoyed our quick diversion to S.T.U.P.I.D. goals with our last video blog. That session was partly tongue-in-cheek but at the same time, I believe there is a certain amount of wisdom in looking at goals from a different perspective.
Today, I will discuss the “sin” of understanding the power of goal setting and still not setting goals. There are many reasons why people simply don’t set goals, even if they acknowledge how powerful the process can be. Indeed, I am an expert…I used to be one of those very people!
I will also touch on sin #4 which is making your goals too easy. Remember the “S” in S.T.U.P.I.D. goals? It stands for Spectacular and that is exactly what your goals need to be.
